POSTCARDS

Our cards are size A6, 105 x 148 mm except the Kuvapina-postcards which are A5. All of our cards are printed with off-set technique, including UV varnishing to prevent the sun harming them in the time being.

We don't make multi-image cards, because we believe that if photo is good, one is just enough. And to give them all the power they deserve, they shall be left alone without any text or other additional graphics. All written information is on the backside of a card. 

 

CART

Before you can checkout, you must have products with at least 9,68 € (excluding VAT). There's no minimum order amount per product: you can pick any kind of combination as long as the total value of your cart is 9,68 € (without VAT) or more.

Maximum amout of postcards for one order is 500. You cannot add more into your shopping cart. If you wish to order more than that, you should contact us to discuss it. You can send us e-mail to

 

SHIPPING

We deliver to the most countries in the world, practically to all stable countries where Finnish national mail enterprise Itella Corporation is able to work. Unless you live in Western Sahara or Darfur, we probably can deliver to you.

Shipping is included to the following countries:

European Union: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.
 

Other countries in Europe: Albania, Andorra, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Greenland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Mayotte (France), Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Russia, Saint-Pierre & Miquelon (France), San Marino, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Vatican-city.

Special regions:  Canary Islands (Spain), Ceuta & Melilla (Spain), Heligoland (Germany), Channel Islands [Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney and Sark] (United Kingdom), Overseas departments of France (Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guayana and Réunion), The Åland Islands (Finland).

Shipping is included in product price to all orders to be delivered to these countries. Minimum order amount is 9,68 € (without VAT).

For orders to all other countries and continents we charge flat rate of 3 euros. It's fixed, being always the same no matter how large order is. Minimum order amount is the same.

 

TAXES

English store shows prices without tax. When you finish up your order, value added tax is calculated depending on the delivery adress. VAT will be added only if order is to be delivered to an EU country. The amount of VAT varies within EU countries.

On the Finnish store VAT is already included on price, but if another EU country is chosen during checkout, it will be calculated again. VAT is is calculated only when order will be delivered to an EU country. There is no VAT when delivered to countries outside of EU.

PAYMENT

Direct Deposit PrePay

We promote common tradition in Nordic countries: prepayment. It means that you pay your order in advance directly to us, using your personal eBank. Of course it means that you trust us, which we hope you do - at least in the time being. We recommend Direct Deposit Prepay to everyone living in 32 member states using SEPA. Which consists of members of European Economic Area (EEA) and EU, with addition some other non-EU countries (Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway, Monaco and Switzerland).

According to European Commission, banks are not allowed to make any deductions of the amount transferred using SEPA. This is why we recommend this method: there aren't transaction costs. However, we cannot quarentee this because it's all up to the bank you happen to use. If they charge you for SEPA payments (supposedly against the rules) you must deal the issue with them.

 

All you have to do is to use your personal eBank and pay your order using information we give you via e-mail. You have two weeks (14 days) to pay your order. Your order will be delivered when we have received payment. If we do not get payment in 14 days, we'll remove order from our system.

We accept payments from any other countries too, not only from SEPA or EU countries. For the most part it depends on your bank. If you know you can pay international transfers with your eBank, go for it! If you aren't that sure about that, ask about it from your bank or use other payment methods we support.

 

PayPal

Choose PayPal on checkout and there you go! You will be directed to PayPal's page where you can immediately pay your order.

Sometimes an error may occur, for instance you're not redirected correctly back from PayPal's site. If PayPal is not working correctly you can still pay with it: just choose Direct Deposit PrePay on checkout and then use this page to pay your order. It will ask e-mail address of payment receiver's PayPal account. It's:  . And of course, you can always ask for help from the same address if you have any kind of problems.

 

Checkout Finland E-payment

For the Finnish customers or customers with Finnish bank account we recommend Checkout Finland E-payment. It supports all Finnish banks and is easy way to pay order immediately. There is no wait and we can ship your order next day. Checkout Finland E-payment is available when total value of order is 23 € or more.

 

OTHER MIND BOGGLING QUESTIONS

 

What is your delivery time?

When your order is paid (may take couple of days with Direct Preposit Prepay) we deliver products in 10 workdays. However, deliveries to Finland and EU countries takes usually only 2-5 workdays. All international shipments are First class mail. Delivery time depends on destination, but usually takes a week or a few days more.

 

Do I have to take my order from a post office?

No. Our intention is to deliver products all the way to your home. If order is so large that it's impossible, we'll discuss it via e-mail to sort it out.

 

What if product(s) I ordered are out of stock?

In that case we contact you via e-mail and ask you if you wish to get all other products first, and missing ones later.

 

Do you sell anything else but postcards?

Apart from our graphic design, web developing and AV-production services, we currently sell only postcards.

 

I'd like to sell your cards on my own store. Do you accept reselling?

If it's a physical store, we can negotiate about it. In fact, we'd like to have our cards more on stands especially in Finland. But when it comes to the web, we like to be the only one. So, we don't resell for another web stores.

 

I got some awesome photos. Would you like to make postcards of them?

We have dozens of photos wating for their turn to get printed. It's going to take a looooong time before we run out of Kalervo's photos. Untill then, we don't take photos from other photographers to our collection.

 

Order and delivery terms

We intend to follow and respect consumer protection laws of Finland and be fair and respectful in every other way too.

You can cancel your order within 14 days from the day you received the order. In that case you are responsible of returning the products and we'll return full price to you. Price will not be returned if customer has broken the product(s) or return is incomplete or product(s) aren't in condition to be sold again.
